How To Play

Select difficulty level by clicking the text next to the big red title "Sudoku"
Fill cells with numbers from 1 to 9
Pick a number by clicking a cell (with the mouse) or a keyboad [1-9] key
Delete a number by clicking a cell's (x) button or pressing the 'Delete' key while mouse is over a cell
The board has 9 regions, each has 9 cells
Rule 1 - each Region consist of unique numbers (1-9)
Rule 2 - each Row of the board consist of unique numbers (1-9)
Rule 3 - each Column of the board consist of unique numbers (1-9)

What's happening here

Empty board is generated
Board is populated with numbers until it's a valid Sudoku game
Numbers are removed from each cell (and the mirror-cell)
Board is solved (using DLX) for a single solution after each remove
Try to remove as much numbers as possible
Board is being re-solved using human-like logic to determine it's level
While all this is happening, a pre-rendered board is dislpayed
The game keeps generating new boards in the background using Web-Workes

Sudoku Boring Facts

Sudoku origin is not from Asia
The first modern Sudoku game was published at 1979
An Indiana 74-y/o retired architect & freelance puzzle maker created it
"Sūji wa dokushin ni kagiru" was introduced in Japan in April 1984
The name sucked, so the Japs changed it to "Sudoku"
You should only play board games when you're bored
